Julia Gillard's government has voiced its commitment to proceed with "pre-commitment" technology despite there being no agreement out of a meeting with state gambling ministers last week, the report explained.
Gillard's government will lose the support of a vital Tasmanian Independent MP if it does not deliver on poker reform, however the plan has faced fierce criticism and opposition from various states.
