Gibraltar-based 888 stated that the certification means that it will now be able to offer gaming solutions to customers and partners in Italy through its Dragonfish business-to-business subsidiary, which has already engaged with several leading Italian operators including Microgame, Gioco Digitale/Bwin.it and King.com with ‘several more deals imminent’.

888 revealed that its offering includes Dragonfish’s Total Gaming Services solution, which offers partners a complete turnkey operation using their own back-office and wallet that includes its CasinoFlex gaming suite and complimentary marketing tools.

“This successful certification of our products by AAMS further reaffirms our focus and commitment to the growing Italian iGaming market,” said Itai Frieberger, Chief Operation Officer for 888.

“We have been active under the Italian online regulated regime over the past few years and we are looking forward to further bolstering our gaming proposition through our 888.it operation as well as through our Dragonfish-powered partners. We aim to present Italian players with a world-class and fully localised gaming experience by leveraging our 14 years of online casino excellence. We welcome new opportunities to grow our market share as Italy becomes increasingly active.”
