The PokerStars.com home games facility, which was initially launched in January, allows players to set up their own online poker clubs in order to compete in ring games and tournaments across a huge variety of variants and at whatever stakes they want from the convenience of their own home.

ARJEL had suspended the new service in France only a month after its premiere pending an investigation into its conformity with local gambling laws but has now authorised its use by France-based players.

PokerStars.com declared that its new home games facility is one of its ‘biggest software releases since the site launched in 2001’ and enables players to ‘create and manage their own private poker clubs online’ while inviting friends and family via Facebook, Twitter, e-mail and in person.
