At 11,333 shares, trading volume was close to the average daily volume of 11,608. The 52-week low was 55 cents on November 11.
“With our financing and licensure in place, we are moving forward with construction and marketing plans. We believe the expanded gaming products will allow Miami Jai-Alai to regain its position among South Florida’s top entertainment destinations,” Florida Gaming, Chairman William B. Collett said in a news release.
Miami Jai-Alai will undergo substantial renovation allowing for a new casino floor with 1,000 slot machines. Development is expected to last eight to nine months. Miami Jai-Alai is located at 3500 N.W. 37th Ave., just a few blocks from the northeast corner of Miami International Airport.
