“It is the first time EGT is present in ELA with its own products"

What is EGT showing here in ELA?
We are showing here two series: Vega Vision and Vega Vision +. We are emphasizing more on the Vega Vision + Series because we consider it is a better product for this market. We are also displaying two cabinets: Upright and Slant Top, both with wide screen monitor. We are also presenting in Mexico our software, a multi-game with up to seventeen games in one cabinet.

In what language?
In the Vega Vision +, it is in Spanish. That’s why we think it is the perfect product for this market. Here, in Mexico, multi-games are popular. You know, operators and players like bingo games. This has been doing very well. We have a lot of great results from a lot of casinos that we can prove the performance of the machines, even though we knew for the Mexican market people might not know us, but we have the records to prove it.

Besides, it is the first time EGT is here with its own products. We have been here before represented by our distributors, but we decided that, to make a bigger impact on this market, we need to come and show our name to be stronger. We’ve been working with distributors, we have just started with Amusgo, a company that has a very good customer base, connections, and technical support, which will help us to get into this market because you need to have a local company to represent you and let you have an office here. We only have an office in Buenos Aires for the Latin American countries.

Which are the most important Latin American markets for EGT?
We focused in Mexico this year definitely. We’ve also just got our license for the Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico is on our list. And of course Argentina, because we have an office there, which is doing very well. Besides, in the whole Latin America we are trying to get as much as possible, because there are a lot of opportunities there, and we think our Vega Vision +, in Spanish language, could be a very good product.
You mentioned that the Mexican market is one of the most important for your company nowadays.

Which are your future steps?
We will put an emphasis in our distributors. They will represent us, they will give us the needed customer base and establish a very good technical support, which we think is very important for the client, for the after sale customer care. We will use their connections to do that.

Finally, which is the result of the show?
It is successful. We are very glad we exhibited here. We are happy that we have seen the local operators and customers, so we believe that now we have shown our sales representative, we can start having a bigger market share.
