Macau’s bill to restrict the entering to casinos

(Macau).- The Macau government will present a proposed law to introduce new restrictions for entering casinos. The main goal is to increase the minimum age for entering casinos from 18 to 21 years.

The bill is likely to also cover issues like the preventive interdiction of players entering casinos, and the existence of lists of interdicted players.

It is expected the bill will also make clear that fire fighters, police officers and health care staff – all public workers, who are usually barred from entering the gaming floor – can go inside casinos in emergency situations.
