Lever comes to Shuffle Master from Global Cash Access ("GCA") in Las Vegas where she served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel since 2005. In that role, Lever was responsible for all legal and regulatory matters related to GCA's multi-faceted operations, including gaming, intellectual property protection, securities, risk management, and compliance, as well as the corporate, banking and gaming requirements underlying GCA's expansion into international markets.
Prior to joining GCA, Ms. Lever was a partner at the Las Vegas law firm Schreck Brignone (now Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck) where she practiced transactional, commercial and corporate law for some of the largest gaming operators. Before joining Schreck Brignone, Lever practiced in Canada representing high-tech and bio-tech companies in private and public equity transactions.
She is a member of the State Bar of Nevada and The Law Society of British Columbia, and received her law degree from the University of Windsor.
