SEGOB, the Mexican Interior Ministry, is responsible for all gaming, wagering and lotteries in Mexico.
The official, who is responsible number 2 for gaming sector in Mexico, said that the current authority of government’s gaming unity in the country, Carlos Reynoso, would be the one to lead the conference as part of EY! Encuentro Yogonet Mexico, and then to be present at the traditional ribbon cutting of ELA 2011, after which he would make the official tour visiting the largest stands of the leaders exhibiting companies.
Then, Reynoso will stop by Casinos de Latinoamerica stand where, along with other three winners, will receive the award ""As de Oro" for the recently ended 2010.
The “Golden Ace” award is the highest prize awarded in the Latin-American gaming sector. It is given to government bodies, associations and companies which are particularly active in the sector.
Lopez Mares said that Reynolds himself wants to participate in all acts of ELA and Yogonet conferences, but if some unforeseen last-minute nature arise, Guadalupe Lopez Mares would represent the Mexican government in all scheduled events.
Guadalupe Lopez Mares also officially confirmed that SEGOB had accepted the invitation to participate in ELA with its own stand (stand 33). "This has been a major boost from the Mexican government to ELA,” stated the show organizers.
