WMS opens portal to new possibilities with UHP Portal Apps

UHP adds a secondary mystery progressive bonus experience on top of WMS base game themes that is designed to increase coin-in, keep base game themes on the floor longer and enhance player experiences. The UHP application highlights imminent jackpots on the base game screen, the top screen, as well as on strategically located signage. With UHP, as coin-in increases and the progressive triggers are approached, robust visuals are displayed and ambient sounds are amplified to celebrate the big win.

The first theme in the UHP Portal family currently available is the Jackpot Explosion theme, featuring a lava-bubbling volcano. The Jackpot Explosion theme has players’ reels and top boxes filling with lava as coin-in builds and jackpot levels increase. Excitement intensifies at the bank level when one is approaching the progressive trigger until the volcano dramatically erupts, awarding one lucky player one of four progressive awards.  

The second theme in the UHP portal family is the soon to be released Piggy Bankin theme, featuring a swelling and ultimately cracking piggy bank. Coins pile into a piggy bank, causing it to grow bigger and bigger; it shakes, it cracks, it reaches critical mass, and explodes, awarding one lucky player one of four progressive awards.

Portal application themes are available across  video reel games,  mechanical reel games and supported on an upgraded Bluebird cabinet as well as any Bluebird2 and Bluebird xD gaming cabinet. To provide customers with maximum flexibility, UHP is available in both a bank-level solution, to allow for easy implementation, and the full Networked Gaming solution.

UHP portal technology is here now, with regulatory approval in three commercial casino markets already, as well as multiple tribal approvals, and six additional commercial casino market approvals expected by year end.
