What are your perspective and objectives to FADJA 2011?

One of the objectives is to present new trends for the gaming market in terms of payment system, and what better than showing iVIZION, the new product from JCM. Also a part of our objectives is to continue showing our commitment not only to offer products of the best quality but with a fast and responsible service. We will be at FADJA with our distributor and local services, the company Hanco Technologies, with which we provide the best support to the market.

What are the main features of the products that will be presented?

We are introducing the new validator iVIZION, a product aimed at the premium segment. It is undoubtedly the most advanced product on the market. It has unique characteristics as a Contact Image Sensing (CIS), the focus of the ticket system, two high-speed processors, embedded RFID technology and much more. We will also be showing our unit known as UBA and Vega drive which targets to other market segments.

What trends do you expect to see on the show?

We expect a show with a positive outlook. There has been a trend towards market consolidation among operators. Companies need to see what's new in order to make their investment decisions in the short and medium term. We hope there will be many people. It is increasingly important to be aware of technological changes involving the industry, from improvements to the machine components, design, games and more. The industry has been boosted greatly. It is essential to be aware of these changes.

How is the Colombian market now? What is the situation in the country from the viewpoint of regulatory and legislative?

We think there is an intention to move forward, but the condition to consolidate a law and implementing it are not given yet. ETESA has been the trigger for the uncertainty, and lack of choices does not help the situation. Nevertheless, we believe in the potential of the market, and we see that major players are betting on it. Therefore, the prospects are more than interesting.

Do you think that will affect in some way to Colombia the situation that exists regarding gambling in Venezuela?

We do not think that affects at all, the situations are different. We believe that the situation in Venezuela unfortunately goes beyond gaming legislation and its implementation.
