Nominations included slot cabinets and platforms, ticket printers, bill validators, tournament management systems, air diffusers and more. A select panel of judges was assembled and tasked with carefully sorting through the nomination materials and deciding the top 10 winners.
Those panel members were: Robert Allen, Corporate VP of Casino Operations, Pinnacle Entertainment; Buddy Frank, VP of Slot Operations, Pechanga Resort & Casino; Chuck Hickey, VP of Slot Operations, Barona Resort & Casino; Charlie Lombardo, Gaming Consultant; Stephanie Maddocks, Founder and President, Power Strategies; Frank Neborsky, VP of Slot Operations, Mohegan Sun; and Robert Sobczyk, VP of Casino Operations, Ameristar Casinos.
“Our esteemed panel of judges is made up of slot floor operators and experts who use and apply gaming technologies nearly every day,” said Peter Mead, Publisher of Casino Enterprise Management magazine.
“The 10 winners they have selected can truly take pride in knowing that their innovations are appreciated by the people to whom it matters most. Likewise, CEM is aware of all the time, energy and money it takes to develop new products and technologies for the slot floor, and applauds the companies’ commitment to the advancement of the industry,” he added.
