Revenues for the 12 months ended 31 December 2010 were HK$19.3 billion (US$ 25 billion), an increase of 57 % over the previous year.
The company will open its Galaxy Macau in Cotai on May 15. Galaxy announced that the property will include a 1,000 square metre multipurpose event plaza and Macau’s only modern Cineplex, with a 9-screen, 3D-compatible, multifunction cinema theatre with a total capacity of 1,000 seats.
The two venues are budgeted at HK$600 million (US$ 77 million) and will open in September 2011.
Galaxy Macau will also include three hotels, a skytop wave pool, food and beverage outlets and a casino with 450 tables and 1,100 slot machines, expandable to over 600 tables and 1,500 slot machines if needed.
