“We have a substantial list of reasons why Steve Jacobs was fired for cause and interestingly he has not refuted a single one of them. Instead, he has attempted to explain his termination by using outright lies and fabrications which seem to have their origins in delusion.”

In the lawsuit filed in a Nevada court, Jacobs alleges he was wrongfully fired. In the court filings, he accused Sands China and its parent company Las Vegas Sands of using improper leverage against Macau government officials.

The allegations included in Jacobs’ filings have prompted the Nevada Gaming Control Board to initiate an investigation into wrong practices by Las Vegas Sands and its Macau subsidiary.

The same allegations have already caused the US Securities and Exchange Commission, the Department of Justice and the FBI to open investigations into Las Vegas Sands for possible violations of the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
