What are your expectations and objectives for FADJA?

We will continue our efforts to build awareness for the TransAct brand and our superior transaction print solutions. We will demonstrate our industry leading TITO printer, the Epic 950 and the Epicentral Print System to the show attendees educating them on our newly launched couponing solution. We want to reinforce our sincere commitment to the growing Latin American market. Our expectation is that we will see a tremendous amount of interest in Epicentral as we have recently experienced at the G2E and ICE shows.

Will the firm launch new products? Which are their main characteristics?

TransAct will display our high-quality Epic 950 gaming printer as well as our popular Banking and Point-of-Sale transaction printers. Our transaction printers are known for their high quality, innovative features and extreme reliability in the toughest of market conditions. Our most exciting product to introduce at FADJA will be our Epicentral System for printing coupons and marketing promotions directly to players while they are playing at the machines.

Which trends do you expect to see this year at the show?
We anticipate tha we will see strong visitation from operators in Colombia, Peru, and as far away as Argentina and Mexico. We also expect to see more evidence that operators are seeing the end of the global economic downturn and are now more confident in the future. We’re confident that operators are now ready to invest in their operations again, especially in high-value items such as TITO systems.

What is your opinion about the Colombian market? From the regulatory and legislative point of view, what is the situation in this country?

We are encouraged by the Colombian regulations and we feel that it will help legitimize the industry in the country. We feel Colombia will be one of the top growth markets in Latin America. We are certainly seeing more operators in Colombia that wish to install systems and offer TITO to their players. They recognize the need to offer a more enjoyable “player experience.”

Do you think that the current situation of gambling in Venezuela will affect Colombia in some way?

The situation in Venezuela is challenging, but we feel that Venezuela will have little impact other countries in the region.
