Ray´s revenue is distributed as funding
This year, Ray especially supports the causes of child welfare, youth education and the well-being of the elderly. The three biggest receivers of Ray’s funding are Y Foundation, which helps special groups in finding housing (8.1 million Euros), The Finnish Federation of the Visually Impaired (7.6 million Euro), The Federation of Mother, Child Homes, and Shelters (5.1 million Euro).
The overall sum of money used in gaming accumulated from the approx. 19,000 slot machines around Finland, most of which are situated in the premises of cooperation partners, such as service stations, kiosks and shops. The revenue from casino games or
Ray’s online games have not been included in the statistics.
Furthermore, the municipalities where slot machines are only available in the premises of one or two companies have been excluded. Paid winnings have been subtracted from the figures declared and thus the numbers indicate the profit received from slot machines.
