According to the newspaper The Local, a professional poker player has given tutorials to judges in his capacity as witness in order to demonstrate the skills required to play the game.

Australian bookmaker Centrebet has agreed an undisclosed sponsorship deal with Australian Rules St Kilda FC, in what head of marketing and gaming Luke Brill has described as “the biggest deal” the operator has done to date.

The three-year agreement will see Centrebet become a “major partner” of the club, nicknamed the Saints. The news comes not long after Centrebet secured a stadium naming rights deal with rugby league side Penrith Panthers.

The Israel Sports Betting Board (ISBB) has issued an international tender for the construction of a new online sport betting engine and website. The deadline for bids to be submitted is noon on 7 April.

Everest Poker has hired four new team pros, following the conclusion of its ‘Live the Dream’ player-search. The European quartet is headed by French player Leonard Truche.
