The first exhibition day gathered the main international firms in London and showed a very good level of public during the whole day.
The high number of companies present (around 400, distributed in 20,000 sqm of exhibition space) bet for a great display inside Earls Court, trying to remark their profile in the sober business environment that ICE usually offers, and many of them presented important technological innovations to the international gaming community, doubling the attraction of the trade event.
The halls were swamped by new options, among them, 3D technologies and innovative touch screen developments, new concepts in progressives, strong bets in the table games field and the arrival of tablets and i-pads to the gaming industry.
Besides, more companies seem to throw into server based gaming options when producing novelties, and, as it occurred in the past, different online gaming companies made their great annual bet in ICE, showing software innovations, hardware, hosting, customer loyalty programs and payment services of bets.
In this field, the igaming sector wins more space in the show each year, in a great extent, thanks to the fact that more and more countries belonging to the European market establish a proper regulatory frame for the online gaming growth in their respective territories.
With regards to the public that participated in the first day of the event, there was a wide international presence of operators and manufacturers, many of them from the European market, and a very small representation of Latin American oprators, which, this year, do not seem to have supported ICE 2011 development.
