The vice president and general manager of the Baton Rouge project is Michael "Mickey" Parenton, who has worked at several executive positions at different gambling companies over the last 18 years. Rafael Verde has been named vice president and assistant general manager.
The casino is scheduled to open in December and will compete with two other riverboat casinos in Baton Rouge. Plans call for a single-level gambling floor, restaurants, a multipurpose center and outdoor festival grounds.
The Baton Rouge property will be Pinnacle's fourth casino in Louisiana.
