What are your expectations and objectives for ICE?
At ICE 2011, Money Controls will be demonstrating its commitment to security by showing the Ardac Elite, as well as its range of ccTalk DES encrypted products. Shows like ICE give us an opportunity to meet with customers and show them how Money Controls’ products can benefit their businesses, not only in terms of security, but by delivering increased reliability too.
Will the firm launch new products? Which are their main characteristics?
Money Controls will be focusing on their existing range of cutting-edge products, all of which combine high acceptance rates, reliability and security. This will include demonstrating DES encryption, first launched at ICE last year, and the Ardac Elite – the first field-proven imaging bill validator. Money Controls will also be exhibiting a range of products from the Crane Payment Solutions group, including the CashCode B2B 60, NRI G38 hopper and the new v2 Eagle coin validator.
In your opinion, what will be this edition’s main challenge?
Despite the sign of economic recovery in some countries in the region, Latin America is still under the effects of the world economic depression. I also observe some concern on Gaming Operators towards investments due to the lack of legal regulation in many countries. Considering all previous, obtaining a massive attendance from Latin American operators will be, in my opinion, a big challenge for this year’s edition.
Which trends do you expect to see this year at the show?
If the crowds at 2010’s G2E in Vegas are any indication, then we would hope to see more people attending ICE than last year, including an increased number of international visitors. The market is showing signs of economic recovery and we think this will be reflected in visitor numbers.
What are your main projects for the coming months?
Following the recent acquisition of Money Controls by Crane Co we will be moving forwards together over the coming months to continue to ensure we keep delivering the best in class customer service and solutions for our customers business. Both Money Controls and Crane have a strong product range and Money Controls product line expands Crane’s current Payment Solutions Group product portfolio.
