What are your expectations and objectives for ICE?
As an international manufacturer and operator of gaming machines, APEX gaming will have a major stand presence at the ICE – at stand number 3070. The previous years have been characterised by strong growth due to the complete focus on innovative gaming solutions from APEX Gaming. The expectation from the market to APEX is therefore that the 2011 ICE will continue in this theme for APEX. Visitors to the stand can look forward to five major innovations to further complement the extensive gaming solution portfolio.

Will the firm launch new products at ICE? Which are their main characteristics?
Yes, we will present these five new innovations to further complement the extensive gaming solution portfolio:

Pinnacle SL: Our firm will be presenting its new Slant Top casino cabinet Pinnacle SL. It bears all the successful hallmarks of the APEX Gaming slot machines. A truly stylish, luxury cabinet that incorporates two 26” monitors and all the technology that APEX gaming customers well appreciate.  The Pinnacle slot machine family thus has a member alongside the Pinnacle upright slot machine that was formerly introduced to the international gaming market at the previous ICE.

Casino Management System: This state-of-the-art casino management system gives operators full visibility on their slot machines on the gaming floor. The company strategy is to provide customers with complete gaming solutions. Therefore, the casino management system of APEX allows all the slots machines to be linked together to provide valuable real-time information. Such information includes money-in and out of each slot machine at any particular time of the day. This gives an entire range of statistics of each slot machine to the operator. This allows casino operators to generate their own statistics to understand just how well each individual slot machine is performing, allowing operators to take the necessary fundamental decisions to improve machine popularity. Furthermore, the technical information via the casino management system allows a preventative approach to maintain the slot machines up and running.

The network system is part of the casino management system from APEX which makes such a system possible. Online monitoring and control is available at a touch of a button for the operator alongside the statistics that can be created as we have already seen. Such a casino management system can be implemented in the VLT market.  A further benefit of implementing a casino management system is the ability to embed a jackpot system. Progressive and wide-area progressive jackpots further add to the possibilities of creating gaming fun.

25 new games: These games further expand an ever-growing games library with well-know names such as Magic Fruits Hot Magic Fruits, Multi Magic I, Multi Magic II, Multi Magic III and Multi Magic Classic. The depth, range and sheer entertainment value is of utmost important to the APEX gaming team. The ever-growing number of countries and jurisdictions that APEX gaming slot machines are operated in are a testimony to the popularity of the games. The new games will build upon this popularity even more.

3D games: We will also present our brand new 3D platform. Fantastic new games such as Wonderland, Adventure of Neptune, Ocean Tale II and Legend of the Sphinx II will be available in full HD. APEX gaming has chosen the Pinnacle SL cabinet to introduce these new and exciting 3D games on.

Quikker for Ticket-In, Ticket-Out applications: The electronic Quikker and Poker Table offers two great games: Quikker is a card game that APEX Gaming introduced to the world gaming market at the previous ICE. A great yet simple game that combines the best of black jack and roulette to bring about a fantastically entertaining game. Furthermore, operators can provide their customers with the possibility to play Texas Hold’Em Poker as well. This unique combination ensures maximum uptime. The electronic table includes all the latest technology to allow 24/7 operation.

Ticket-in, ticket-out is an excellent payment method in the gaming industry. Therefore, APEX gaming will be presenting the electronic Quikker and Poker Table that can be played via ticket-in, ticket-out at the forthcoming ICE.

In your opinion, what will be the edition’s main challenge?
We believe that the challenge will be to generate more exciting player options to generate operate interest and thus help grow the market. This reflects the company philosophy at APEX and the complete range of gaming solutions on the APEX stand will be a sure bet for great operator interest.

Which trends do you expect to see this year at the show?
We believe there will be more focus on 3D games and thus we are proud to be bringing new 3D games to the market.

We see the demand for top quality slot machines rising and the new Pinnacle SL slant top complements the design and innovative prowess completely alongside the upright Pinnacle slot machine.

We believe that players are looking for new gaming experiences that are challenging yet simple to comprehend. Thus, the Quikker electronic gaming table will be a sure bet many visitors to the exhibition.

APEX Gaming will continue to invest in new products and projects for the gaming industry. For example, the new subsidiaries in Mexico and Spain will be equipped with more country-specific solutions.
