What are your expectations and objectives for ICE?
ICE is always a fun show, and our objective this year is to help regulators, suppliers and operators understand the combined capabilities that GLI and TST bring to both the land-based and the iGaming worlds.

This is the first ICE at which GLI and TST will be appearing jointly since GLI acquired TST’s offices and capabilities. The combination of the two companies brings an unparalleled level of expertise and capacity to the land-based and iGaming industries.

In your opinion, what will be this edition’s main challenge?
This is an evolving time in gaming regulation, and in many cases, European jurisdictions and regulators are paving the way, particularly in terms of mobile and iGaming. The challenge for regulators will be to carefully scrutinize the exciting new technologies that suppliers will be showing and then analyzing the potential impact on their individual jurisdictions. GLI and TST will be holding our annual Roundtable in Budapest this May.

Which trends do you expect to see this year at the show?
In the lab, the trend we have been seeing is suppliers’ embrace and exploitation of new technologies that are even more interactive than devices in the past.

What are your main projects for the coming months?
After ICE, we will be producing our 10th North American Roundtable, which takes place March 2-3 in Las Vegas. Then we will be producing our European Roundtable on May 17-19 in Budapest. The Roundtables are extremely important events where regulators come together to discuss and to learn about new technologies that will be impacting jurisdictions in the near future.
