Inspired and Merkur announced the launch of a VLT partnership

The two companies recently announced the launch of a VLT partnership called “Merkur Inspired” and following positive reactions from concessionaries a legal co-venture has been formed.
 
Inspired and Merkur Gaming will both be exhibiting the exciting range of Merkur Inspired’s market-leading VLTs at ICE on neighbouring stands 4075 and 4070.

The 50/50 Joint Venture known as “Merkur Inspired Limited” will combine Inspired’s AAMS-approved Open VLT platform, cabinets and extensive games library, with Merkur Gaming’s popular casino-style cabinets, top performing Comma 6a games and European Slots games modified for VLTs, and lots of exciting new releases specifically developed for the new terminals.

Betplus will be the first Italian operator to benefit from the Merkur Inspired Joint Venture, after signing a nine-year VLT deal for the supply of a minimum of 1,000 VLTs.

Both companies have significant strengths to offer Italian operators and concessionaries. Inspired, the Server-Based Gaming (SBG) specialist recently acquired and refinanced by leading London private equity firm Vitruvian Partners, was the second VLT platform authorised by AAMS to go live in venues. Its ‘Open’ platform allows content and hardware partnerships with the world’s best gaming companies, such as Merkur Gaming, to deliver the widest range of games and cabinets to customers.  

Merkur Gaming is a leading manufacturer and supplier of AWPs and casino slots for the European market, bringing to the joint venture a range of ultra-modern cabinet variants and decades of experience in designing top performing games. Merkur Gaming already has a very good reputation for quality with Italian customers, following its success in the Comma 6a market.

The partnership will benefit greatly from Merkur Gaming’s experience, innovation and high quality products.
