Marc McDermott was named Director of Jurisdictional Engineering
Marc McDermott recently joined Cadillac Jack as Director of Jurisdictional Engineering. In this new role, McDermott is primarily responsible for Cadillac Jack’s Jurisdictional Engineering and Software Quality Assurance. Previously, he served four years as Technical Director for the Gaming Standards Association (GSA) in Las Vegas where he worked closely with members of the GSA Technical Committee to develop the G2S and S2S protocols for the industry.
Prior to GSA, he also served for eight years as the Division Chief for the Nevada Gaming Control Board’s test and approval laboratory. While at the NGCB, he developed, in cooperation with the gaming industry, Nevada’s technical standards for system based and system supported gaming which later became the model for commercial testing laboratories and other state labs across the country.
Ron Malinowski joins the firm as Director of Sales
As Director of Sales, Ron Malinowski’s primary focus will be on the VLT market in Illinois and other expanding commercial jurisdictions. He brings more than 25 years of gaming experience to Cadillac Jack with recent tenures managing the sales organizations at Sega and Capcom. He also developed extensive operational experience while at Bally where he managed its 500+ amusement centers. His strong relationships with local VLT operators combined with his unique ability to cultivate new business opportunities at the national account level will enable Cadillac Jack’s seamless entry into the Illinois VLT market and other ambient/distributed machine markets.
