According to your experience, Which has been the performance of the industry during 2010?
The gaming industry is in constant growth everywhere. Naturally, there are countries that grew more. For example, our company had a great year in Mexico, because we managed to consolidate our firm as the one with more growth in the sector.
Which are the main problems affecting your sector? Which would be the potential solutions?
With the expansion of the market, we face different peculiarities that manage the gaming activity in the country. Our solution consists in the adjustment of the products to the needs of each market.
In the markets where you operate, Which is the one that has registered more growth and why?
Mexico is the country that has registered more growt due to the fact that it is a relatively new market in the business, with a high density of population, with economic capacity and with a culture accustomed to healthy entertanment and fun.
What product of the catalogue of the firm has generated more level of sales during 2010?
Our whole catalogue is comprised by very profitable products. However, in 2010 in particular, we remark titles such as Triplemania, Acemania, Golmania and games recently launched such as Dulce Manía and Mr. X, which no doubt is the great star of the year because it has already exceeded all our expectations.
Which is the country with more growth margin facing 2011? Why?
No doubt Mexico, due to the fact that the gaming market is maturing quickly.
Which is, in your opinión, the main legislative and regulatory change that has been registered in Latin America during the year?
In this activity, changes are being generated constantly in the rules of each market, but specifically this year the countries in which we have presence have not registered relevant changes in legislation, just some matters of interpretation.
What opportunities or disadvantages do the mentioned changes generate to the company?
Changes in legislations enable to generate certainty in the activity, which means a better tax collection and more sources of employment, which contribuyes to a healthy economic environment, as long as those changes do not affect the continuity of the sector in a direct way.
What are your expectations for 2011?
To keep our standards of service at the level of the expectations of the different markets in which we participate, through the release of new products and the deep knowledge of the needs of each customer, as well as to continue with our expansion in the opening of new countries, as it happened in Spain, where we will focus important resources during 2011.
