Taking into account what you could perceive, what has been the industry's performance during 2010?
2010 for EGT started with one of our most successful shows, which was the London IGE 2010 and continued in the same way all throughout.  Having come out of a difficult and very long 2009, this was the 1st time one could feel that the industry is waking up and ready to show action again. All though 2010 there has been an improvement on the global gaming scene. The industry is so dynamic that even when some markets are closing there are always new ones becoming available for penetration. Asia, Latin America and South Africa are increasingly becoming the next big thing.
The year 2010 might have been a challenging one for the whole gaming industry, but for EGT it also marked the approvals of several new markets where our products could be distributed. Peru, France, Monaco, South Africa and Greece are only some of our new destinations.  We have also put into prospective an entry into the US market by the next G2E 2011. For the second half of 2010 the performance of our products, based on reports from leading European casinos, has shown outstanding levels which make us very optimistic. Our main goal is to continue deliver high quality products and solution to our valued customers.

What are the main problems that are affecting your business? Which are their potential solutions?
One of EGT’s main obstacles to handle has been the lack of cash from operators, which affects new deals and production processes. The only solution we see is to reach for financial support from outside sources. This would definitely ease our situation. We would be able to offer more flexibility to our clients with long term leases.

Among the markets in which you operate, which one has experienced the most notorious growth? In your opinion, what is the reason for that?
South America is one of the markets offering the highest growth rate with so many economically emerging countries. The time has come when the market has started to replace all its existing machines. Players have become more selective which makes operators more aware to respond with new and adequate technologies. EGT recently celebrated the opening of its newest external location in Buenos Aires, Argentina. We also remain in good relationship and with exclusive representation from Estex Corp, which have already well-established distribution network on the territories of Peru, Venezuela, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Panama and the Dominican Republic.

Macau continues to release skyrocket global revenue figures. EGT’s installed machines there have increased with 30% during 2010. Our collaboration with Macao-based Winning Asia Technology has provided us with quite satisfactory representation throughout Asia.

Which one of your products has generated a higher level of sales during 2010?
The development and introduction of our Multi-game software in early 2010 was what made our product really noticeable, competitive and has been backed by major casino operators. This has significantly underpinned EGTs sales in huge multi-game markets like Mexico, Venezuela and Europe in total.

The proven Vega Vision Series Multi-game mixes numbers 1 to 8 offer great entertainment with original, exciting and vibrant game content in power performance compilations of upto 17 games now in our Vega Vision Multi-8. We have also released new multi-game mixes for our widescreen Vega Vision+ Series. At ICE London our visitor will witness Vega Vision+ Multi games 1 to 4, which will mark the release of a great selection of hot new video slots, featuring excellent game plots, exclusive graphic designs and mathematical concepts specifically designed to fascinate slot fans.

Which country has a better growth margin facing the coming year? Why?
We think Mexico will be our priority for the near future. The market offers great potential and its growth is inevitable. Other markets important for us are South Africa, France and Greece. We are just stepping into these territories which allow us to have very high expectations.

What do you expect for 2011?
EGT’s overall goal is to continue strengthening its presence on all exciting markets and also entering new ones. As I have mentioned previously, Latin American region will continue to be our priority. Product wise, we have planned to launch brand new cabinet, game theme and platform with a multi-level progressive jackpot system at the London show in January. With our new products backed by an international support, we are very optimistic about the future and we look forward to a strong start for 2011.
