Inspired Gaming appoints Mark Irvine to lead online division

Mark Irvine is an online gaming expert with over 11 years of experience in the online betting and gaming industry, across UK and international markets. His eGaming experience and contacts are the perfect fit to convert and deliver Inspired's top quality land-based content to an online audience.

Inspired prides itself on being at the forefront of server-based gaming technology, which allows multiple content on one gaming terminal, as well as the download of new releases to all connected machines. This focus on content has led Inspired to invest heavily in its games division, creating the largest games development team in the UK and producing a significant proportion of the UK's hit games, all in HD. Treasure Island, Inspired's most successful slots game to date, has consistently been a favourite game across Inspired gaming machines in the UK and Europe.

The natural next step is to offer the eGaming industry access to the same range of quality HD content as land-based operators. The first Inspired eGaming content to launch will be a collection of Inspired's best performing five reel slots, including Treasure Island.

Following Inspired's acquisition in July 2010 by one of the largest and most significant private equity funds in Europe, Vitruvian Partners, the main focus for the company has been to continue to take its winning technology and content to new international markets and online. Inspired has already successfully launched its land-based Inspired Virtual Sports Betting products in the online space - now counting 12 of the top 25 online operators as customers - and is following a similar strategy with its leading slots games.
