This is set to give Quixant a clear technical advantage over competing products based on older technologies which lack the performance and punch of the new AMD Fusion Family of Accelerated Processing Units (APUs).

Further details of Quixant’s first AMD Fusion APU-based product will be revealed at the ICE show, but it is expected that the first new product based on AMD Fusion will be a direct replacement for Quixant’s current best seller, the QXi-100.

“AMD Fusion technology delivers a major increase in both graphics performance and capability whilst being extremely power efficient. Support for DirectX 11 and OpenGL 4.0 together with the latest HD multimedia capabilities make AMD Fusion an extremely exciting development for gaming. Quixant plans to be the first to deliver the benefits of AMD Fusion technology in an integrated platform that includes all the functionality required for gaming” commented Nick Jarmany, Managing Director of Quixant.

“Quixant’s early delivery of products to the gaming market based on AMD Fusion reinforces Quixant’s market leading position. We have the best range of features, performance and value in the industry, together with long term supply and unrivalled software support” said Gary Mullins, Sales Director of Quixant.
