The investment was carried out through the subscription by Unicredit Merchant of common and preferred shares overall representative the 28.5% of the share capital of a newly incorporated company, Lotterie Nazionali Holding, which, as a subsidiary of Lottomatica Group, had taken over the 43.75% of the share capital of Lotterie Nazionali.
As a consequence of such transaction, Lottomatica Group owns, directly and through Lotterie Nazionali Holding, the 51.5% of the company concessionaire of the Italian Scratch & Win business, Lotterie Nazionali.
Mediobanca assisted Lottomatica as financial advisor of the transaction.
