Playboy opened a new casino in Cancun

The ex playmate arrived punctual, at 10.30PM, to the red carpet of the new entertainment center, where she modeled down a catwalk and greeted people, posed for photographs and then cut the ribbon that inaugurated the place. “I am happy and enchanted to be in Cancun, which is a marvelous place,” commented Electra after the ceremony. 

The party was brightened up with the performances of Normand Latourelle, co-founder of Cirque du Soleil, and DJ Playboy Collen Shannon.

The casino was decorated with a reproduction of the chimney located in the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles, where Hefner lives, on which a paint of the founder of the magazine was put.

The facade of the place looked spectacular, according to a press release of the company, thanks to the hands of talented Mexican artists, who, on a great metallic wall,  bored the famous logo of the bunny, and, due to light effects, it was repeated again and again.

"An important number of tourists and neighbors were waiting in the middle of the lights to admire the red carpet show, which started around 9,00 p.m., with several people from the social and business sector”, pointed the bulletin.

Casino Playboy is the first part of a complex that will be concluded in no more than a year, which will also count with a theater, a boutique with exclusive brands and a restaurant, in a 12,000 sqm space, with a decoration inspired in the original club, located in Chicago as well as in the Mexican Jet Set.

The bunnies wore the traditional "uniform" in red, which served to show off the beauty of all of them, but specially the Latin girls, which now join a select group of Playboy representatives.

Jared Dougherty, VP of Marketing and Licenses of Playboy Enterprises, said that Cancun is one of the most famous and appreciated places worldwide. “We are sure that this new casino will be very attractive for men and women that like to have a life full of style, fun and class,” he affirmed in the press release.

The entertainment center is located at less than 200 metres of Church Cristo Resucitado, whose legally authorized representative presented a lawsuit because the place is not supposed to respect the law of games and draws, which, in one of its articles, establishes a certain minimum distance for the operation of a casino and a church.
