“We believe Bally’s premium brand name and state-of-the-art technology solutions will create unique excitement in our casinos throughout Italy,” said Alessandro La Monica, Chief Executive Officer of B Plus. “We look forward to a long relationship with Bally.”
“B Plus offers Bally access to the largest concessionaire in the exploding Italian VLT market, with high-quality operations throughout the country,” said Gavin Isaacs, Bally’s Chief Operating Officer. “We are optimistic that this initial order of 1,000 units will cement our long-term relationship and lead to further expansion of our partnership.”
Including this announcement, Bally has entered into long-term agreements with three of Italy’s largest concessionaires − B Plus, HBG Group, and Sisal Slot − to provide VLT devices for the new video-lottery program being implemented throughout Italy in public venues. Bally expects to begin delivery in mid-calendar year 2011.
With a 78-year history as one of the world’s leading developers of innovative gaming devices, Bally brings a new level of cutting-edge games to the Italy VLT market, including the only mechanical-reel games for video lottery, and exciting features for players such as progressive jackpots, mystery bonuses, and game-in-game features.
Bally also differentiates itself with unique and dramatic game cabinets, including the ALPHA Elite V32 with its 32-inch vertical touch-screen display; and the Digital Tower Series, reaching nearly seven feet tall and highlighted by dramatic top-box bonus features.
In addition to innovative games, Bally will draw upon its expertise in central determination and VLT markets to provide a server-based central control and monitoring system designed specifically for Italy’s VLT program.
