The panel also featured Alex Kelly, VP of New Media Business Development & Sales for IGT as well as Matt Ward, Executive Director of Product Strategy & Advanced Solutions for WMS Gaming. The panel discussed how technology is changing the landscape of the mobile gaming market as well as insights about where they see the market moving in the future.

The panelists also discussed that as technology in gaming moves forward, the U.S. is still trailing behind other countries in terms of legalization and regulation of gaming, specifically sports betting.

Amaitis pointed out that you cannot stop prohibition as us$ 400 billion was bet in the United States this past year, while only us$ 2.5 billion of that was bet legally. As patrons become more familiar with mobile gaming, the panelists agreed that the technology will continue to grow and change the gaming market forever.
