The self-exclusion order for foreigners can be made at the NCPG office in Thomson Road or the Migrant Workers Centre at Rangoon Road. From next Wednesday, applications can also be made online.
For family exclusion orders, applicants can go directly to Tanjong Pagar Family Service Centre at Tiong Bahru Road.
NCPG chairman Lim Hock San said the exclusion orders provide foreigners in Singapore a personal choice to protect themselves from gambling. In previous statements, he had declared: NCPG chairman Lim Hock San added: “Self-exclusion from the casinos is part of a comprehensive package of social safeguards to protect problem gamblers ... as part of their recovery process.”
In support of the initiative, RWS assistant director (communications) Robin Goh said: "We're working closely with NCPG to work out the mechanics of enforcing this safeguard. RWS has also been in touch with migrant worker groups on collaborative responsible gaming programmes for workers since March and hopes to be able to contribute in this effort."
