Gala appointed new CEO
(UK).- Gala Coral has hired a former director at UK retailer Marks & Spencer to lead the gambling group, and the chief executive of Debenhams, Rob Templeman, will become its new chairman.

Carl Leaver, the former director of international, home and multi-channel at M&S between 2007 and 2009, joins Gala Coral a new chief executive with immediate effect. He replaces Neil Goulden who will remain at the group until the end of January to ensure a smooth handover.
Rob Templeman, who will remain as chief executive of Debenhams, where he has been since 2003, has also joined Gala Coral as non-executive chairman.
