“Because Gemaco quickly exceeded sales projections for its new state-of-the-art chip line in 2010, a new series is being introduced. We’ve gained considerable gaming chip business in Delaware and Pennsylvania and continue global growth in all three product lines,” he added.
Fitzhugh also noted trends in casino operations that have heightened interest in newer playing card products: “Casinos are increasingly attuned to the revenue advantages of GemPak pre-shuffled multi-decks. Gemaco is also introducing PROFLEX, a new innovation in 100% plastic, in response to the demand of players and poker managers for a card that takes snap and memory to the next level.”
Gemaco’s gaming table coverings line followed the same upward trajectory in 2010 as other lines. “Gemaco’s layout business continues sustained growth, due in no small part to our lightening-speed graphics and turnaround time. Gemaco looks forward to capturing more of the layout market share in 2011.”
When asked about projections for 2011, Fitzhugh commented, “Gemaco continues to focus on R&D to stay ahead of the technology curve. We recently embarked on a multi-million dollar upgrade to our factory to continue providing the highest quality products at extremely competitive prices.”
“G2E is an invigorating show. The Gemaco team enjoys meeting customers, connecting with new prospects and networking with professionals in the industry,” Fitzhugh concluded.
