Macau’s casinos set new monthly revenue record
(Macau).- Macau’s casino gross gaming revenue reached us$ 2.36 billion last month, the highest value ever. It represents a yearly increase of 49.8 %, according to data released by the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ).

The previous record was set in May 2010, when the local casinos raked us$ 211.3 million.
The total casino gross gaming revenue for the nine months through to October rose 58.8 % year-on-year to us$ 18.8 billion.
That is more than the local casinos earned on the overall 2009 (us$ 14.7 billion).
