The company’s Managing Director, Mark Smith confirmed: “We all recognise that these are difficult times for everyone involved in the gaming sector and as a consequence we believe it’s more important than ever to support a flagship event that the industry is able to rally around.
“Whilst the international economic situation is complex I believe it’s vital to continue to move forward through product innovation. The vast majority of the industry’s breakthrough products have been debuted at ICE and certainly from our perspective all of Gamesman’s most successful initiatives such as our OLED and LCD push buttons, which offer slots manufacturers the ability to incorporate full colour video capabilities, have all been
launched in London.”
He added: “Exhibitions provide an opportunity for the entire development and marketing chain of innovators, suppliers and operators to come together, discuss the business in its broadest sense and move forward with an injection of confidence and a raft of new product ideas to put into operation. We will be making some major announcements in the last quarter of 2010 and the exhibition gives us the opportunity to discuss our view of the future with international customers face to face.”
