“We seek to expand to the whole Latin American territory”

Through the service that it will supply to the National Games of Chance Commission (Conajzar) for five years, the firm leaded by Tolosa will attract sportsbooks in all its modalities and categories. The executive indicated that they have already reached an agreement with the Paraguayan Football Association and with the Paraguayan Basketball confederation. They, other sports such as tennis, car racing and voley ball will participate. 

The number of cell-phones in Paraguay is of six million of devices, on an active population which is a little less. Mobile phones have more penetration than Internet:  98%.
 
Short-term goal: the expansion
Giocomovile was founded in November 2006 in Argentina. It started to develop as a company from February 2007. “We are in Latin America four years ago and we believe it is a market that has not been operated yet, above all, with regards to our main activity: mobile media. We started in Argentina and Bolivia, but now we seek to expand to the whole market. We are working hard to enter in Brazil. Besides, we are in talks in Mexico and Colombia”, commented José Luis Tolosa.
 
The company, whose regional office is located in Buenos Aires, inaugurated an office in Brazil approximately a month ago, plus the one the firm already has in Paraguay.
 
Argentine Market
By mid 2010, it was announced that the Institute of Financial Health to Social Action (IAFAS) of Entre Ríos had granted Giocomovile the tender process for the application of a sportsbooks system for ten years.

Tolosa informed that it was also granted to IAFAS, as a tender, all copyrights and industrial rights of all its games for the institute to use them in the way that is more convenient for them. In Argentina, Giocomovile also has presence in Tierra del Fuego and La Pampa through traditional and new games, gaming and gambling.
