Under the new norm, it is guaranteed the pursuit of any illegal operator without license, that advertises its services in Finland anyhow. Although the measure guarantees the protection of legal operators in the country, it has not found support of all the interested parties, because losses for the prohibition will be considerable.

However, not all the doors for advertising foreign gaming in Finland are closed, because the new law establishes the prohibition only for national media, so the important number of foreign publications issued in the country may advertise gaming offered by foreign operators.
