GLI renews exclusive contract with South Dakota Commission on Gaming

Larry Eliason, Executive Secretary of the South Dakota Commission on Gaming said: “We depend on GLI to provide technical compliance testing and consulting services to the Commission to assist us in the regulation of Deadwood gaming. GLI’s testing capabilities help the Commission and its staff to develop and implement regulations that are applicable to ever-changing technology, so we can maintain the public trust that is essential for the success of this industry.”

GLI Director of Corporate Compliance Andy Comer said: “We are thrilled that the South Dakota Commission on Gaming has renewed its exclusive contract with GLI. For more than 20 years, GLI has been serving regulators in South Dakota, both with the Commission on Gaming and the South Dakota Lottery, and we are very pleased that the State trusts GLI’s abilities and values our relationship as much as we do.”

Under terms of this agreement, GLI provides comprehensive testing on a wide variety of gaming equipment including slots, systems and peripheral equipment. 

GLI has a separate, exclusive contract with the South Dakota Lottery. The contracts with the South Dakota Commission on Gaming and the South Dakota Lottery Commission were the first contracts in GLI’s history, which has since grown to more than 450 jurisdictions globally.
