What are you preparing for the Women in Gaming Awards 2010 and the Women in Gaming Networking Event?
Women in Gaming Networking event will be inspirational, educational, motivational and full of glamour.  Event will offer ability to network with industry colleagues and discuss latest issues in the industry.

Which is your principal objective for this year?
Women in Gaming ceremony was created to honour women in gaming, well for the reason that most of our female colleagues confident group of professionals that work long and hard within a competitive arena, we juggle multiple projects and complex situations within tight time frames and to a successful outcome. Most of us juggling children and running home at the same time and with great success.

Being at the top can be a lonely place to be, especially with mostly male dominated industries. Our event will give opportunity to network with other female professionals in the industry, listen to and share successful stories, business expertise and ideas.

What are the main characteristics of the nominees and finalist?
The categories of the awards are: Hidden Talent of the Year Award, Star of the Future Award, Leader of the Year Award, Team of the Year Award, Inspiration of the Year Award, Affiliate Manager Manager of the Year Award, Innovator of the Year Award and The Industry Pride of the Year Award.

One more award will be given to our male colleagues: Men Who Champion Women Award.

Our judges had a hard job to do as we received many deserving nominations and wonderful stories from nominees, colleagues and their Chief Operating Officers to tell our judges how proud they are to be able to nominate a colleague and proud to support breast cancer charity.

Who will be the main speakers?
The conference will feature keynote speeches, followed by an intensive series of discussions and real life examples from industry role models. Speakers at the conference hear from companies such as Nokia, Income Access, Virgin, Rank Games, Foviance, Vegas Affiliates, MelcoCrown Entertainment, Party Gaming, Ladbrokes, 888 and many more.

The conference's international credentials are underlined still further by a fascinating line-up of presentations from speakers from USA, Canada, Asia and Europe. Conference will highlight a wide range of issues relevant to the gaming industry of today and tomorrow - full details are available in the conference programme.

What will be this edition's principal theme?
Ladies in our industry deserve recognition, and so many inspiring stories arrived to us via nomination page. I truly believe it is our year ladies. I am sure a lot of you agree after watching Oscars and seeing Kathryn Bigelow winning Best film Director award. Her most important achievement will not have been to have triumphed over a former husband, but to have become the first female director to take the statuette. I am proud to announce that Women in Gaming will be supporting Breaktrough Cancer research charity this year.
