Jens Halle commented: “As recent industry speculation and media comment have made clear, there has been much discussion in recent months about the future organisation and the location of Europe’s major gaming industry show. Novomatic’s decision to stay at London’s Earls Court and with the present organiser, Clarion Gaming, is driven exclusively by the wishes of our customers and is subject to final contract negotiation. Our customers are the key factor in any commercial decision that we make and they have made their feelings abundantly clear. So, for that reason, we have decided to make this firm commitment and to make our decision known throughout the industry.”

Recent discussions within the so-called ‘European Exhibitors Group’ of manufacturers have clearly shown that Novomatic, despite taking the lead by means of its announcement, does not stand alone in choosing to stay in London, at Earls Court and with the organisational partnership of Clarion Gaming.

Following this announcement Novomatic will now move into detailed negotiations with Clarion Gaming in order to implement the terms of agreement and expresses its hope that the ICE Totally Gaming shows of 2011 and 2012 will build on the success of previous years and reach new standards of excellence to benefit the entire gaming industry’s further ongoing development.
