First time in the morning, around 15 executives from different operating chains in the region, assisted to the course “Protecting your Assets: an optional approach”, dictated by instructor Darrin Hoke. The learning proposal was the main event of the day, and after a few welcome words from AGE 2010 organizer, José Aníbal Aguirre, the training course started. It will conclude today at 4,00 p.m., approximately.

Due to the low assistance of exhibiting companies, that at late notice cancelled their spaces, the authorities of the event unified the exhibiting area with the hall in which the course is being developed, so the business space decreased its size as well as the number of assisting companies, and just one firm exhibited its products at the event.

Despite that, it counted with the assistance of executives from companies such as WMS, Money Controls, Casinfo, Crown Casino, Suzo, Spin, Transact, Aruze, Cashscan and GLI, among others, who contacted executives from the main operating chains in Aruba, Curazao, Virgin Islands, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, and Panama.

This way, it was also stated the aim of AGS organizers of reaffirming the profile created with CIJUEGO, in which training has more boost and importance, leaving aside the proposal of a traditional exhibition and closer to a business round format.

“This new format of a congress and business round facilitates the access to education, bringing the courses to the place where interested people are present, saving training costs”, pointed Aguirre, who has already anticipated that the new name of this new space will be Aruba Gaming Congress. “Aruba is the seed we are planting in the area in order to create academic and business spaces that are key for the growth of the industry in the Caribbean”, he added.
