De Luca talked about his expectations and the causes of a Project that is so ambitious for the sector. The central program of the channel will be POKER SPORTS NEWS. “It will be the great news reference in Latin America”, assured the main responsable for  the signal. “We will count with special correspondents in all the continents with the aim to have all the news that occur instantly,” he added,

When asked about his experience to face this Project, De Luca named the achievements he obtained through producer Media Sports TV: were responsible for Poker Magazine (the first poker magazine in Spanish), the publication of a column in Diario Olé (the first poker column in a sports medium), poker TV coverage through ESPN, Poker Magazine News (the first poker column for Sports Center) and also manage part of the communication account of Full Tilt Poker.

Besides, he remarked that POKER SPORTS aims to go beyond the TV screen: “We are also launching POKER SPORTS RADIO live (www.pokersportsradio.net), and we will reach players through a magazine called POKER SPORTS MAGAZINE, which will be distributed for free in more than 20 casinos in the region”.

POKER SPORTS will be the first Latin American cable signal specialized in poker. It will start to broadcast in September in Cablevisión, cable operator that has exclusiveness with the channel up to the end of the year for Argentina. It will be part of the package of sports signals together with ESPN, Speed and Golf Channel, among others. Then, it will expand to Brazil and Mexico, and in a second stage, the reach will be even more regional.

POKER SPORTS will cover the most important international tournaments, and will offer programs with specialists, their own contents, and important American and European programs. Besides, it will have a news area dedícate exclusively to this sport. Yogonet will be in charge of the News Department. Programs will be 100% in Spanish, because international programs will be translated.
