Sands China CEO reportedly left company

Sands China is the Hong Kong-listed unit of Las Vegas Sands, the U.S. casino operator. Sands China is one of Macau's biggest casino operators. Jacobs joined Las Vegas Sands in March 2009. The news, the Journal says, comes ahead of Las Vegas Sands' board meeting next week to discuss second-quarter performance.
It also comes after Las Vegas Sands Chairman Sheldon Adelson criticized Jacobs for comments he made about the company's plans in Japan in a June interview with Dow Jones Newswires.
