"This is great news for us and the many casinos that are interested in using our product. Approval by GLI will allow us to move forward and meet the demand that we have been experiencing ever since Reel-TV's recent launch at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas," said developer and Reel-TV principal, Keith Atkinson.
Reel-TV is the result of extensive research and product development in the area of electronic gaming devices and truly transforms the casino floor into a versatile advertising medium. Idle slot machines are now an added visual attraction as the slot machine's normal interface is replaced with an advertiser's message.
After a machine is idle for 60 seconds, an advertiser's message will display for 15 seconds followed by 30 seconds of game display then continuing to a 15 second commercial. Once a guest begins to interact with the machine, video will cease and the user will be able to experience uninterrupted play.
