Jesús Franco Muñoz, president and founder member of the company, travelled from Spain especially for the summit, and gave the official welcome words.

Morales Solá talked about the situation of the country since legislative elections on June 2009, and about the future scenario after the presidential elections in 2011, and assured that Argentina oscillates between “political and institutional crisis”.

“How will the county reach 2011?” was the question of the remarkable journalist. Immediately, he pointed that there is a serious investment problem, which will determine growth, both this year and the next one. Although he assured that, in his opinion, there won’t be a recession.

Besides, former Ministry of Economy talked about the current situation and the perspectives of the Argentine economy. Among the positive points, he mentioned the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) level. The annual variation of the investment, and therefore, the employment, comprise the negative counterpart.

Lavagna assured: “There are no reasons to think that Argentina is going to live a crisis as it happened in 2001. But it is true that there are doubts that are reflected in the capital outflow and a decrease in investment”.
