Austrian lotteries chooses Gtech G2 games for online casino channel
G2 is the digital gaming and sports betting division of global lottery corporation Gtech. Win2day is jointly operated, through a subsidiary, by Austrian Lotteries and Casinos Austria. It offers classic lottery games of the Austrian Lotteries, as well as casino games, a games room and a poker room.
“G2 has earned our trust and respect since we’ve been working with them, and they have a leading portfolio of games,” said Michael Rittmannsberger of Austrian Lotteries. “So they were a logical choice as we develop our online offering.”
“With the extensive igaming software and player management expertise we’ve gathered, and our long standing relationship with state lotteries, G2 is uniquely positioned to help this client extend its offering to include more online games,” said Ulf Rehnström, Business Development Director, Government Markets.
Gtech G2 has provided the software for the poker games at Win2day.at since February 2008. The new agreement will see the launch of three of the most popular easy-to-play instant win games in G2’s portfolio: Aces High, Triple Chance Hi-Lo and Aztec Gold. Gtech G2 has an extensive collection of unique games, some created by in-house development teams and some produced by other developers and integrated through G2’s player centric Gaming Management System.
