Gtech signs online lottery contract with Totalizator Sportowy in Poland
The seven-year contract, which follows a competitive procurement, will commence on December 1, 2011, and includes the option for three extension years. Gtech has been Totalizator Sportowy’s online lottery technology and services provider since 1991 and will continue to maintain a primary data center and a backup data center in Warsaw.
“Gtech offered Totalizator Sportowy proven capabilities, products, and quality of services that will meet the Lottery’s vision for the future, enabling them to respond to market challenges with accelerated innovation,” said Gtech President and CEO Jaymin B. Patel.
“We stand ready with the latest technology solutions that embrace creative new game content and distribution capabilities – solutions that will drive further growth and return more value to Totalizator Sportowy in the coming years,” Patel concluded.
