Gallardo said that this law will regulate online gambling in accordance with “The Information Society and Electronic Commerce Services Act”, which estates that the government must regulate Internet gambling, based on principles such as protection of minors, illegal gambling and distribution of benefits among the different regions.

In addition, the commercial director said: "I have no idea of the benefit that can bring online gaming to the State because, as online companies do not pay taxes currently, it is impossible to know the total amount of illegal gambling.”

In this sense, Gallardo has confirmed that the law will also set a standard for advertising in online games but it is still pending the approval of Congress.

To conclude, he does not recommend running an online gaming company in Spain at this moment because it is "not authorized" and there isn’t another choice but to wait until the regulation comes if peope want their company to work under the law.
