However, the company is keen to revitalize the Playboy image and it’s believed that by offering exclusive clubs in Macau, the risqué business could experience the same success as casinos in the Chinese province.

Playboy has revealed that it intends to open two nightclubs in properties owned by Sands China, which include The Venetian Macau and The Sands Macau. The company has also made clear its intentions to open a “Playboy Mansion” on the Cotai Strip in the next two years.

Playboy clubs were initially successful in the United States in the 1960s, attracting a variety of stars. In recent years, the clubs have suffered and just one remains open in the US. While the Playboy brand has suffered, it’s believed that growth in Macau could mean the company returns to financial growth.
